Anna's career began as a journey down a rabbit hole beginning with the U.S. Navy and subsequently became a white water rafting adventure in public accounting. Now floating in calm waters with her chosen career as a Professional Business and Life Coach, she sees how different life could have been if she had chosen her future years ago, rather than have allowed her future to choose her for so many years.

 Diagnosed with Meniere's syndrome while in the Navy, she retired with a medical disability. Using the educational benefits awarded to her, she earned a BS in Accounting at Mississippi State University. She then obtained her CPA license and worked in the public accounting industry as a tax accountant for many years.

 Waking one morning, and asking herself, "Is this all there is to life?", she remembered a quote by Stephen Covey: "The best way you can predict your future is to create it!"

 Within weeks, she applied for graduate school at the University of Texas at Dallas and began work on an MBA in Organizational Behavior and, subsequently, an MS in Management and Administrative Sciences.

 Using her education and knowledge of life, business and corporate culture, she discovered that coaching was a rewarding way to help others through their journey through life, whether that life be a straight line, a serpentine journey, or a white water rafting adventure.

The stress of professional life packed on as much as 40 extra pounds, so she began a “secondary” career as a "professional" dieter, yo-yoing up and down throughout her career. She tried many diets and even expensive hypnosis sessions, but nothing worked permanently. Then she looked inside herself for answers. She began to notice automatic eating behaviors. Working backward, she discovered the triggers to those behaviors and working backward even more, she discovered that her childhood programming was the culprit. Through trial and error and a lot of research, she discovered techniques that virtually eliminated her use of food for emotional comfort. “Food is no longer the enemy!” she says.

About My Coaching Style and What To Expect

In our first session, we will explore exactly what it is that you want to achieve. We will then customize a plan together that works for you. During the formulation of this plan, we will

  • Explore your habits, preferences and routines.
  • Explore to a limited degree your past lifestyle history and your past attempts to achieve your goals. Why to only a limited degree? Because I do not believe that our past should dictate our future. The past is only important to see what has not worked before, so that we can intelligently begin anew.
  • Explore those triggers that drive you to eat and develop a strategy for disarming them.
  • Discuss grocery shopping habits.
  • Learn the art of "dining out" while losing weight and develop strategies for the times you are not in control of your menu choices.
  • Focus on ways to increase your physical activity.

  • To help you stay on track, I promise ultimate support throughout your journey to your ideal weight achievement and maintenance. 
  • A program will be structured to fit YOUR schedule.  We will communicate through your choice of phone, email or in person. 
  • We work together to help you achieve a healthier and more active lifestyle.
  • I will hold you accountable to your goal firmly yet compassionately.
  • I will honor your confidentiality.

If your lifestyle involves eating out and traveling more than staying at home ...... no    problem!   Together, we will design a plan just for you!

About My Fees

You may find that my book or teleclass may be all that you need to begin your journey to reach your ideal weight, but in the event you find that you need additional support, my rate is $250 per month for three 45 minute sessions. A 20% discount is available with prepaid contracts of three months or longer or you may add an additional session each month. This fee includes interim calls of limited duration and unlimited emails.
